I’m planning to buy a holiday apartment in Spain this year, but I can’t decide between Costa Blanca and Costa del Sol. I’ve spent time in both — loved the beaches in Marbella, but Alicante felt more relaxed and less crowded. Prices also seem different depending on the area. For anyone who’s bought recently, which region do you think offers better value overall, especially in terms of long-term investment?

I went through the same decision last year! I ended up buying on the Costa Blanca, mainly because I got more space for the same budget compared to the Costa del Sol. The rental demand there is still great, especially around Torrevieja and Benidorm. If you check listings for Real Estate for sale in Spain, you’ll see there’s still a wide range of affordable new builds. That said, Costa del Sol has stronger resale potential if you’re thinking luxury.
